Fantastic athletic club with the best tennis facility in the area. I play here several times a week, and the courts are consistently well maintained. The atmosphere is welcoming and makes it a great place to play.

I love how I am able to do a 2hr drop off for my toddler . I recently had a baby and I love how they let me have him with me while I work out. It's very liberating to get pieces of my life back . Staff seems really nice My only complaint is when I signed up I made it very clear I wanted to know if I would have access to the reformer for pilates. I was told yes- only to find out i must sign up for personal classes to use them I cannot use them at any time. Other then that I wish the swim classes like the deep water one was during childcare time

Overall a great gym. I appreciate that they keep up very well on maintenance of the equipment and it is a very clean gym. If a machine is out of service it is usually usable again the next day. I love that because other gyms can take weeks to fix things. The members are generally very nice and willing to share equipment. And in my experience it hardly gets crowded across the 3 main gyms. HOWEVER, the price increases are beyond reasonable. In the last 6 months prices have increased twice by a total of almost 25%. Gyms usually put the price change on new members but VAC put it on all members. So whether you have been there for years or just joined you will get the same price treatment. It feels quite unfair on that end. I love The Valley but I’m hitting the walk away point on price. My wife is the manager at LA Fitness– I could have a free membership there. But I have stayed with The Valley because it clearly cares about quality and is minutes from home. I just don’t know that VAC is worth nearly $100/mo.

The hours feel a bit limited and the layout of the facility is a bit odd. Definitely feels dated. What prompted me to write a review was that I was surprised they had us using dish towels on the ground during a Pilates class. For the cost of the membership, I was surprised to be offered this as equipment. It is the only gym in the area offering what they do, so we stay. Pools are great, outdoor grounds and pools are nice for the couple months they are open.

This is the best gym hands down!! They’re always extremely clean, have machines in great conditions, have a great cafe and spa, has so many workout rooms so you can always workout and get a great workout in even when it’s really busy!! The staff are so amazing and go above and beyond in customer service! And they have so many amazing things for kids and families which is huge to me!! The owners are absolutely amazing!! I will always have nothing but amazing things to say about this gym!! If you’re debating about if it’s worth it to join it absolutely is and has more to offer than any other gym!
